ADDICTIVE, PROCESSED FOODS MAKE YOU FAT
Most all processed foods are addictive. Sugar substitutes, excess salt, MSG, Olestra, trans fats and a myriad of other fillers, anti-caking agents, coatings and preservatives are to blame. They are bastardized versions of initially safe, naturally occurring spices and extracts yet when the processing occurs, lost is all nutritive value and gained is an eventual trip to the ER. And the government legally allows them to do this. The risk in NOT acknowledging and avoiding nutritional inadequacies and deceptive packaging results in malnutrition and disease. The government legally allows food manufacturers to do this. The government not only allows the food manufacturers to use these items in processing but to also legally lie about it on the label. Case in point, products touting "0 trans fats" are legally allowed to have up to 500 mg of trans fat per serving! Our burden to bear. It’s the people who persistently inquire who maintain their health. The risk in NOT acknowledging nutritional inadequacies and deceptive packaging results in malnutrition and disease.
Business is all about Gain. Doctors aren't taught this, food manufacturers legally deceive us and drug companies want to keep us as repeat customers. It all boils down to who can gain the most. They do not care at whose expense.
