Unhealthy Food Additives

I can't explain the reasoning why food companies put so much crap in processed foods but I am sure it all boils down to the almighty dollar somehow. Regardless, we are stuck with eating so now we have to be stuck with the task of investigating and vetting out what we're putting into our bodies if we want to stay healthy.

Laziness and ignorance will kill us. If are not knowledgeable of what we are ingesting, we are doomed. I can even be accused of this. Just wanting quick easy food can be a death threat and is certainly a threat to our weight.

The quick way to determine if a food isn't right for you is if you don't know, understand or cannot pronounce what is listed on the back of a can or package, do not buy it.

This may be impractical though because now the FDA has found legally acceptable ways to hide the real chemical ingredients within other ingredients in packaged foods. For instance:

MSG - we know it enhances foods but has bad side affects and is horribly detrimental to weight loss.
Hydrolyzed protein (any kind) - did you know that the FDA allows food companies to sneak 40% MSG into hydrolyzed protein?
Autolyzed yeast - did you know that the FDA allows food companies to sneak 40% MSG into autolyzed yeast?

So if you have a product like canned ravioli and it has all of these items in it, that means that you can have about 150% MSG in your food which WILL cause you bloating, inflammation of the intestines, retardation of absorption of other nutrients and most likely give you a headache too.

I go more into these chemical definitions and reactions in the soon to be released, Fat Loss Dictionary.
