The Myth of Fat Loss and Exercise

You hear it, read it and see it all day long. You won't lose weight unless you get out there and exercise. Unfortunately the reality of those statements has a huge caveat that no one approaches. That's right, exercise will only help you dent that fat under optimal circumstances. These optimal circumstances include but aren't limited to, your nutritional state, your lymph state, your environmental state, sleep, water, and attitude.

If you are overweight, you are probably already in a compromised nutritional state. Figuring which nutrients you are deficient in takes trial and error or better yet, accurate blood testing. Exercising in anything less than an optimal state will stress you body and further undermine your efforts.

The Lymph System is extremely underestimated in today's society. It is a critical form of elimination that the body relies on to work optimally. If it is not working correctly, any attempt at diet, nutrition or exercise will be futile. Lymphasizing is very different from exercising. This is explained in the Speed Healing Techniques we tout.

Environment is another overlooked obstacle to optimal health. Living near a freeway, commuting more than 20 minutes in your car every day, drinking city water that has chlorine in it, using your microwave, and exposure to plastics all can easily derail any effort toward optimal health. We offer a lengthy list of ways in which to avert these environmental obstacles to health.

Sleep. Why? There are certain functions your body performs only when you are asleep so to not sleep is to deprive your body of taking care of its business.

Water. I personally get sick if I drink too much at a time. What's best is a little at a time. Many tout 8 glasses per day. I would add throughout the day, the smaller the amounts the better. And 8 glasses isn't hard and fast. You need to find a good number that works for you. You'll be able to tell when it's not enough (headaches, bathroom issues) or too much (bloating, feeling uncomfortable).

Attitude. I never overtly exercised and probably never will. Here are some good ways to approach a non-exercising lifestyle in an attempt to lose weight and keep the lymph flowing.

Move it! Here are some ideas.....

Leg weights, wear around the house and when walking.

Rebound. On a little trampoline. This is NOT exercising and should not be challenging. You don't agressively bounce, you just move up and down. Your feet don't even leave the trampoline. It's what helps make the lymph move. This action alone is worth every attempt. Get the MP3 player and just go with the flow. Before you know it you would have bounced for 30 minutes and if you moved your arms around a little bit you can burn 400 calories just doing this. It is almost zero impact and much better than doing nothing.

Walk the dog, even if he is a pain and pulls, atleast take him around the block. The weights on your legs will help keep you grounded.

Squeegy off the walls in the shower every time you are done showering. It will do 2 things. #1 it will get you bending and stretching and #2 you'll keep your shower cleaner so you don't have to spend time scrubbing later on.
